What You Can’t See….

I am not afraid of thunderstorms
I’m not afraid of cats
I’m not afraid of anything
I’m not afraid – that’s THAT!

Lightening storms don’t scare me
Big dogs now seem OK
It’s just the little details
That make me run away.

My human says I’m wimpy
I don’t believe it’s true
Inside I feel courageous
Except when things are new.

I love my human master
But sometimes wish I could
Show courage on the outside
The way I know I should.

But for the moment this helps
My master’s been so kind
No worries meeting new things now
…this gives me peace of mind!
